Online pandemic education has increased student passivity, anxiety and discomfort with active, engaged learning. In this session we will share experiences and discuss how to move forward with special attention to summer courses.

Christina Paolucci

Originally from Boston, MA and trained at Boston Ballet School, Christina performed with Boston Ballet while still in high school. After graduating from Juilliard with a BFA in dance, she joined New York Theatre Ballet, performing principal roles in the company’s repertory. She was Artistic Associate of The Tallahassee Ballet and Executive Director/Associate Artistic Director of New York Theatre Ballet. Christina staged ballets, commissioned new choreography, and provided successful artistic and fundraising consultation to emerging dancers, dance companies and aspiring choreographers. As an educator, she held a long-standing senior faculty position at Ballet School NY. Currently, Christina is an adjunct instructor of ballet at Montclair State University, and Co-coordinator of Admissions for the Dance Division.
